 Terms & Conditions

1. Grant Use & Timeline


- The WPC Grant is intended solely for educational purposes related to photography.

- Eligible uses include one in-person or online workshop, course, mentorship, portfolio review, or other photography-focused educational program valued up to $2,500.

- The educational opportunity must take place or begin within six (6) months of September 10th, 2026.

- Failure to use the grant within the stated timeframe may result in forfeiture, unless prior written approval is granted by WPC.


2. Payment Structure 


- Women's Photography Circle (WPC) will pay the educational provider directly for the workshop, course, mentorship, or other approved educational program selected by the recipient. The total cost of the educational opportunity, including taxes, registration fees, and any required materials, must not exceed $2,500.

* If the total cost of the educational opportunity exceeds $2,500, the recipient is responsible for paying the remaining balance.  

* If the recipient selects an in-person educational opportunity, all related travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, meals, and any other travel costs, are the sole responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by WPC.


3. Media, Promotion & Visibility 


- Recipients agree to share at least three pieces of content (e.g., photo, video, or social media post) that documents or reflects how the grant supported their growth.

- This content may be used by WPC for promotional purposes. Recipients agree to provide links to their social media profiles and/or professional website and give WPC permission to tag, mention, or share their content in public-facing platforms.

- By accepting the grant, recipients grant WPC the right to use their name, likeness, written content, and submitted images on its website, social channels, newsletters, and related materials.


4. Eligibility 


- Applicants must be residents of the United States, 18 years or older, and identify as women.

- Applicants must be actively involved in photography as a creative pursuit or profession.

- Employees, contractors, or immediate family members of WPC are not eligible to apply.


5. Liability & Disclaimers 


- WPC is not liable for any injury, travel interruption, loss, or damage incurred through participation in any grant-funded event or educational experience.

-WPC makes no guarantees about the quality or outcome of any third-party workshops or classes and assumes no responsibility for the actions or policies of those providers.

- The recipient assumes all risks associated with travel, participation, and the use of any educational service funded by the grant.

- Recipients are responsible for any tax implications associated with the grant and are encouraged to consult a tax professional if needed.


6. Forfeiture and Revocation 


- WPC reserves the right to revoke the grant if the recipient does not adhere to these terms, provides false or misleading information, or fails to communicate in a timely manner.

- If the grant is not claimed or used within the required timeframe, WPC may reassign the funds to another applicant.


7. Agreement 

- By applying for the WPC Grant, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Definitions: For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, "WPC" refers to Women's Photography Circle, the organization offering this grant.
